  23.   The DivX Pro(tm) 5.0.5 software is the version of DivX(tm) video technology
  24.   designed specifically for professional users. It includes all the features
  25.   of DivX 5.0.5, plus extra advanced encoding technology and integrated encoding
  26.   tools that appeal specifically to the most advanced users.  DivX Pro is more
  27.   than just a codec; it is an integrated suite of video tools.

  29.   The DivX Pro 5.0.5 release now includes the first version of the EKG. The EKG 
  30.   enables an advanced video compressionist to reallocate data to specific scenes 
  31.   within a video clip. The EKG is just one of the new apps and features weÆve created 
  32.   due to     community demand. The full list of changes and fixes can be found in

  36. Installation instructions
  37. -------------------------

  39.   To install the DivX codec, you should follow the following simple steps:
  40.  
  41.   1. Copy the installer program (DivXPro505Bundle.exe) to a location on 
  42.      your hard drive (e.g., C:\temp).  
  43.   2. Run the installer program by double-clicking on the
  44.      DivXPro505Bundle.exe icon.  
  45.   3. Follow the instructions of the installer program to install the
  46.      DivX Pro software.  
  47.   4. Done! The software should be installed in your Systems directory.  
  48.   
  49.   **What files are installed?**: The DivX Pro software installer will install
  50.   the following files on your system:
  51.   
  52. * divx.dll         (DivX Pro Software) 
  53. * divxdec.ax        (DivX Decoder Filter) 
  54. * README.txt        (This README file.)
  55. * License.txt        (License agreement for the CODEC.)
  56. * DivX Help Guide    (Internet Shortcut to DivX.com help site)
  57. * EKG.exe               (New! Electrokompressiongraph)

  61.   **Uninstalling DivX Pro Software**: To remove the DivX Pro software from
  62.   your system, you should use the "Add/Remove Programs" control panel in
  63.   Windows. To this by selecting "Start -> Settings -> Control Panel ->
  64.   Add/Remove Programs" from the Windows Start menu. In the listbox that is
  65.   presented to you, choose "DivX Pro 5.0 Bundle" and click "remove."

  120.     entered in the CLI    after the "-key" option 
  121. *       when "-d 3" option was entered in the CLI field, "Source interlace" became blank.
  122. *       Max bitrate would not update at times. 
  123. *       DirectShow decoder postprocessing slider became disabled with ATI radeon 9700 Graphics card 
  124. *       DirectShow decoder would "fast forward" when seeking backwards.  This could cause synch             
  125.     issues when re-encoding DivX Files using the DivX Decoder Filter.
